RiP: A remix manifesto,
In RiP: A remix manifesto, Web activist and filmmaker Brett Gaylor explores issues of copyright in the information age, mashing up the media landscape of the 20th century and shattering the wall between users and producers.
The film’s central protagonist is Girl Talk, a mash-up musician topping the charts with his sample-based songs. But is Girl Talk a paragon of people power or the Pied Piper of piracy? Creative Commons founder, Lawrence Lessig, Brazil’s Minister of Culture Gilberto Gil and pop culture critic Cory Doctorow are also along for the ride.

Have you had any luck downloading the entire movie (as opposed to watching it in a flash viewer)? The download link says "US residents only" and enquiring to their support address got me:
"We are the US distributor of RIP, and therefore can only offer it to US residents. The filmmakers are adamant about making the film available to anyone who wishes to view (or remix) it, though, which is why it is also available on the NFB website and opensourcecinema.org."
But ... no joy. Ideas? Have I just gone insane?
Good questions - I have asked them of the site.
Would also like to see a NZ showing .
